- ACL repair:
ACL injuries in the paediatric population are a serious orthopaedic issue and have the potential to create long term disability. Paediatric ACL injuries (if left untreated) have been shown to have an increased incidence of meniscal injuries, chondral injuries and early onset arthritis. Dr Beer uses a modified technique which causes very little trauma to the growth plates of the knee. He has successfully and safely performed this technique on patients as young as 8 years of age.
